  1. I guess many of PUK students are using iPod or iPhone.
So pretty sure they have the iTunes on their computers too.

I’m recently finding the “Podcast” function very useful. You might have heard of its name before ,but have no idea what it actually is just like I did.

Learning from movies and music is one of the most popular ways to learn English for sure. However, in terms of the real interactions between people, communication which happens in movies sometimes sounds too natural and well-organized.

Learning the language through music is also a good way, most of the time. Every words are clear and easy to catch and understand. They, on the other hand, don’t have the long sentences that appear on the daily conversations. And, people usually pay more attention to the music itself that to each words when they listen to it for a long period.

In that regard, listening to podcast from such as radio stations might be good to train the listening skill. There are almost always only talks of the people. More inputs from the spoken sentences than songs.

Getting podcast from the stations like CNN, BBC ,and NPR
is not difficult at all. Go to iTunes Store on iTunes. Go to Podcast page and find your favorite programs. Once you subscribe a program, lists of podcast will appear on your Podcast in Library section.

Hit your favorite cast and download it. You can listen to it anywhere and anytime.
